Destaques do Congresso anual da ALT

O programa do congresso anual da ALT deste ano traz uma trilha temática intitulada Critical Perspectives in Learning Technology, marcadas em azul. Destaque para a palestra da socióloga e professora Tressie McMillan Cottom, da Virginia Commonwealth University, sobre desigualdade e sociedade digital . Ao longo do programa há apresentações marcadas com o ícone do Youtube, indicando transmissão ao vivo por streaming de vídeo. Destaque também para a apresentação, nesta terça-feira, do trabalho A personal, feminist and critical retrospective of Learning (and) Technology, 1994-2018 de Frances Bell e Catherine Cronin e, no dia 13, para o trabalho What lies beneath: Reflections on a community consultation and ethnographic research on the implications of the use of technology for teaching practices, de Lawrie Phipps e Donna M Lanclos.

Há diversos livros novos em áreas bem diversas do campo de pesquisa mas que, cada um a seu modo, nos fornecem indicativos de importantes questões correntes que têm atraído a atenção de pesquisadores da área.

Lev Manovich acaba de lançar Software Takes Command (International Texts in Critical Media Aesthetics). Outro lançamento para breve é a segunda edição do Critical Digital Studies: A Reader (Digital Futures), dos pesquisadores Arthur Kroker e Marilouise Kroker. 

No Brasil, Jamil Marques, Rafael Sampaio e Camilo Aggio, lançaram Do Clique à Urna: Internet, Redes Sociais e Eleições no Brasil, que pode ser baixado gratuitamente através do repositório institucional da UFBA.

Em área de estudos próxima, a Sulina lançará em breve @Internet e a Rua, de Fábio Malini e Henrique Antoun. A conferir! 


There are several new books in very different areas of the field of research but which, each in its own way, indicate important current issues that have attracted the attention of researchers.

Lev Manovich has launched Software Takes Command (International Texts in Critical Media Aesthetics). Another release for short is the second edition of Critical Digital Studies: A Reader (Digital Futures), by researchers Arthur Kroker and Kroker Marilouise.
