Já o periódico Open Learning: The Journal of Open, Distance and e-Learning traz edição temática intitulada Opening up education: the challenges for institutions offering online and blended learning. Research Papers from the EADTU conference 2013, baseada em trabalhos da referida conferência realizada no ano passado que abordou a transição das universidades européias para ações de educação online.
